No, im saying Dante Williams is a good recruiter, which he is. The argument was never about him as a coach, it was about him as a recruiter

Sure he’s not the DC, but he’s never really had a good-great secondary either.

Players he’s coached that’s been drafted.
He’s had 6 players he’s coached for atleast a year drafted but 4 came in 1 year at Oregon(he recruited none of them). Tough to say he would have done much more coaching to those guys as the are almost no names in the nfl.

It looks like he’s only had 2 players he recruited to the school that have been drafted.

He actually was the defensive pass game coordinator at USC this past season. USC fans want him gone, because like what has been true at his other stops… he’s a great recruiter that can’t coach for shit.

Its like husker fans cant comprehend how defensive stats and numbers will go down when you have an offense that is up-tempo and scores quick

Huge difference between your defense being on the field for 50 snaps a game compared to 80-90

Also i know we have forgotten about this because we havent done it in so long.. but there’s this thing called garbage time… when you’re up 52-10 your young backups come in and give up garbage yards/ points
