I don't think he is an answer this year. We need to get away from having RS Freshmen being the answer on the OL. Not saying they cant play at all, but they need to be the exception not the rule.

One play from the spring game, but this is basic shit that drives me nuts.



You are backside on a run. You need to know, I cannot let him beat me to my left. I have help behind me so I can be extra aggressive in cutting him off. If he goes behind me he isn't making the play and after I pass him off I get to 2nd level.

Like this shit isn't physical this is mental. As an OL you need to understand angles and where you can and cannot miss.

It may just be the fact that if Mathis can be formidable teams can't focus on just one pass rusher when Nebraska only send 4 guys. I think Tannor is all right. I think Nelson is a good player.

Nelson, Henrich, Tannor are all guys that you look at and go "this is what a development program player should look like in year 3/4" The problem is that they seem to be the exception and not the rule.

Nelson, Henrich, Tannor, Newsome, Reimer, Robinson. Clark & Farmer will provide necessary depth. It sure seems that Gunnerson, Butler & Buford are on the come. We will see about Nutsmasher but I would say things have gone pretty darn good on defense.

Who the FUCK is our center? Is this assuming Hixson? Hate that...Would rather see Turner go there to be honest.

Hixon is a good pass blocker who can read a defense. That's imperative for this offense. His struggles are in the run game.

The weakest link is Right Guard. All you need to know about Broc Bando is he was incapable of beating out Matt Sichterman in 2021 despite being a 23 year-old in his 5th season of college football. Broc turns 24 soon. He's playing his 6th season of college football and has already earned a Master's degree.... He has 0 career starts. It's truly mind blowing that Nebraska Fvcking Football is in this position.

And what's even more outrageous is Ethan Piper has 10 career starts, and he can't even beat out Bando.
