Yes. It’s the way the games have happened. It’d be the same for meIf it was Mike Riley with this record would you be torn?

Illinois beating MN makes that loss look better but makes the MN loss look even worse…. Complex to figure out which are the “good” losses these daysNo because Purdue will be back in the top 25 after this week and they are world beaters.
Yep. You can manipulate stats anyway you want to. All I know is we keep losing games at the end of the day.Illinois beating MN makes that loss look better but makes the MN loss look even worse…. Complex to figure out which are the “good” losses these days
Lol that we agree onI could be wrong, but I highly doubt they would hire either Bo or Riley again if they fire Frost.
I had a thought last weekend. What if the fate and football gods vision of the Frost era is essentially going from 4-8 to 10-2? With no gradual middle record. Kinda how it feels at this pointClose to being last in the division
Actually nvm we are last outright, at least until Northwestern loses tonight
3-9 doesn’t tell the full story either. How is 3-9 close? You can't ignore that stat and focus on the score board. The scoreboard doesn't tell the full story.
That is literally the only reason lol if everyone is honest that’s it. Any other name he’d be gone. We all know it.It’s bad progress and not really. A loss is a loss and what other school that calls itself a “blue blood” which gets more laughable every year would actually think of retaining a coach with four losing seasons in a row?
Why are we sticking with Frost honestly? There’s no reason other than his last name

Sometimes I’m not sure we should be considered a blue blood anymore. Blue bloods are supposed to win
Yeah, think a lot of fans will simply just give up, if/when he’s firedIt’s not a blue blood but people still throw around the term - it’s a lot closer to Minnesota after the 1950s than really anything else.
And We’ve got a lot of fans who would rather be coached by Scott Frost than win games, which is really sad
Yeah, think a lot of fans will simply just give up, if/when he’s fired
Somewhat already there. Been to quite a few games during the last 4 years. Haven’t been to a game yet this year due to lack of results. Won’t go to Cockeye at home now that we’ve been eliminated from bowl play eitherIt’s going to be the opposite for me - I’m not going to set aside time or spend money on a team that cares more about a coach with ties than winning.
It is the story. Scott is here to win football games. At the end of the day, he isn't.3-9 doesn’t tell the full story either.
We are close, there is so much talent on this team that it should be a Top 20 team. All we are missing is a good Head Coach. Missing 1 key piecem a competent person in charge. Frost can't win the close games. Prove me wrong? Riley and Pelini would have a team with this much talent ranked in the Top 25, and I don't think either one of them was a good coach. The reality of the situation is we are close. Does that matter in year 4? It shouldn’t matter, no. Would it matter if his last name was Frost? Nope, he would have been gone last year most likely. But the reality is his name is Frost which carries some weight. I don’t get to judge that right or wrong. No I wouldn’t be upset if he was fired at the end of the year. I’m honestly expecting it. Do I want him to be retained and succeed, yes. But again, I’m not expecting it and am just assuming right now that he’ll be fired after Cockeyes
I’m sorry man but I’m not putting the freak things that have happened this season on Frost. I don’t have numbers or data for you. I understand where my answers will go but at some point guys just gotta make plays because they are athletes. You have no idea what Riley or Bo would have done with this because they aren’t hereWe are close, there is so much talent on this team that it should be a Top 20 team. Frost just passed Bill Jennings for the lowest winning percentage in the last 60+ years of coaching Husker Football. Frost has to rank near the very bottom for Winning Percentage of all current Power5 Coaches that have been at a school for 4+ years. Actually I wonder if there is another coach that has even made it past 4 years with losing records?
Agree to disagreeIt is the story. Scott is here to win football games. At the end of the day, he isn't.
No we aren’t close. Please stop saying it. People think you have something wrong with you when you doThe reality of the situation is we are close. Does that matter in year 4? It shouldn’t matter, no.
