I had a thought last weekend. What if the fate and football gods vision of the Frost era is essentially going from 4-8 to 10-2? With no gradual middle record. Kinda how it feels at this point

It’s not a blue blood but people still throw around the term - it’s a lot closer to Minnesota after the 1950s than really anything else.

And We’ve got a lot of fans who would rather be coached by Scott Frost than win games, which is really sad

Somewhat already there. Been to quite a few games during the last 4 years. Haven’t been to a game yet this year due to lack of results. Won’t go to Cockeye at home now that we’ve been eliminated from bowl play either

The reality of the situation is we are close. Does that matter in year 4? It shouldn’t matter, no. Would it matter if his last name was Frost? Nope, he would have been gone last year most likely. But the reality is his name is Frost which carries some weight. I don’t get to judge that right or wrong. No I wouldn’t be upset if he was fired at the end of the year. I’m honestly expecting it. Do I want him to be retained and succeed, yes. But again, I’m not expecting it and am just assuming right now that he’ll be fired after Cockeyes

Frost just passed Bill Jennings for the lowest winning percentage in the last 60+ years of coaching Husker Football. Frost has to rank near the very bottom for Winning Percentage of all current Power5 Coaches that have been at a school for 4+ years. Actually I wonder if there is another coach that has even made it past 4 years with losing records?

In 2016, Mike Riley lost 6 games by one score and a 7th by 10 points, and I distinctly remember The Vulcan on RSS calling for him to be fired (with many people concurring). And that was during his First Season.

If Riley was a beta loser (which is a consensus among Husker fans), what does that make Frost?

I’m sorry man but I’m not putting the freak things that have happened this season on Frost. I don’t have numbers or data for you. I understand where my answers will go but at some point guys just gotta make plays because they are athletes. You have no idea what Riley or Bo would have done with this because they aren’t here
