Utah would’ve got their ass kicked by Miami or Oklahoma or Notre Dame. Gave up over 750 yards rushing to Kansas & Kstate. Not surprised our OL & shitty RBs couldn’t do anything, especially with how Lateef looked.

The big 12 has so much variation from week to week, not cuz equal parity but lack of money. The gap is going to widen & Cockeye state has already lost a coach cuz they’re realizing the issues they’re facing with shared revenue & NIL.

I’m not arguing that necessarily. What I’m saying is you treat the SEC like everyone else and only rank 5-6 teams pre-season and don’t over value SEC wins the polls would look a lot different come season’s end.

Keep in mind we’re arguing about or discussing all teams who aren’t remotely good enough to win a National Championship except maybe Notre Dame. (big maybe btw) But OU, Bama, Utah, BYU, Duke all would’ve likely gotten smashed in the 1st round unless they somehow got paired against a G5 team. None had/have a snowball’s chance in hell to win 3-4 games against the best.

We have had the most success hiring assistant coaches as head coaches since Tom retired. Let’s go back to the assistant route and hope it works. Atleast they will be hungry.
