The Bama offense was complete garbage down the stretch outside of part of the OU game.
I agree, I’ve been arguing since day 1 that they should’ve never been in this tournament. Not good enough. Didn’t think OU should’ve been in either. Both vastly overrated teams.
I agree both are vastly overrated, but not sure there was a legitimate reason to leave out OU.
Cockeye is as good or better than OU and Bama.
Not going to argue that, but their record Is what it was. Not going to get in with 4 losses.
Oh the media and the SEC would’ve had an apoplectic meltdown if both were left out and would be currently doing everything possible blow up the system if the committee left out both OU and Bama. But it would’ve been the right move.
Committee is bought and paid for by ESPN and the SEC is ESPN’s golden goose. Committee did exactly what they were paid to do.
I'd add T Tech in there too. 4/6 just lost to better teams. They just had a higher seed.
OSU/Oregon pretty evenly matched last year. OSU was playing better at the end of the year.
Only real upset was Miami over OSU.
I agree. They fucked themselves with a few bad plays. It’s time to get rid of the meaningless bowls and just do the bigger playoff. It’s going to 24-32 teams regardless.

Agreed, but 16 would make it easier to fix the calendar and eliminate the byes. But fuck it, if you know you’re just gonna go to 24 anyway might as well just skip 16. But I think 16 would be perfect.
Bama got them right where they want em
With tv money you know it’s going to 24 at a minimum at some point. People will bitch about it taking away from the regular season, but I don’t buy it. Fans will still be pumped to watch their teams every week. The bowls are a complete jokes with opt outs now, so why even play them?
I talked loads of shit about Indiana last year. Didn't make that mistake this year. They're really good.
Oregon/Indiana will be a really good game and so will Georgia vs Indiana/Oregon.
Nebraska sucking sucks but otherwise this is a really good year for college football.
Yeah, this is obvious, but not really in play when discussing OU. Bama shouldn’t have gotten in, they were/are terrible and didn’t/don’t belong.
16 is the right number.
