On a certain level I tend to feel bad for some of these kids that come to Nebraska. They aren’t good enough to deliver and have to deal with the pressure of a top program while getting housed by the Minnesota’s of the world and sneaking out wins against MSU at home.

I have to wonder if they have things too easy. you get all the local fame of playing at a big time program, without having to actually deliver

we get a guy like EJ who has incredible development over the last 3 years, but no one else. it's kind of like the whole program is soft and isn't pushing players nearly hard enough, so the only ones who succeed are the ones who push themselves

We need a number of these guys to come back to fill roles. New coaching, new scheme…we can’t turn over the masses.

Guys like Lenhart, Shavers, Jones have talent. They can fill roles with the new coaching and incoming players.

Jesus, you can’t eliminate the entire D side of the ball.

And as emotional as many are, you know that too.

You see something in those three where they have the potential to blow up under a new staff? I do not believe they have the requisite talent level to be able to be more than depth pieces at a legit B1G program.

We will see next year however we should all hope they are recruited over in the portal starting this weekend.

We will see next year however we should all hope they are recruited over in the portal starting this weekend.

Can’t say I do or don’t necessarily. We can’t be much worse though can we?

What I do know is that I’m not going to waste any emotion over it. Let’s talk in a couple weeks and see where we land after the portal period. And then after spring ball…we really won’t know anything until October.

So, let’s kick back and see where it all goes.
