OWH Releases Assistant Coaches contracts

Based on what Football Scoop reported TWO YEARS ago we are way underpaying our staff if we want to compete effectively in the B1G. We are paying about 75% of what Cockeye is paying.
Highest-paid staffs
1. Ohio State: $11.425 million
2. Michigan: $9.384 million
3. Oregon: $8.225 million
4. Cockeye: $7.9 million
5. Washington: $7.2 million

I like Barthel. There's a reason Texas tried to poach him last year. You can't say "Holgorsen is past his prime, the OL sucks, Nebraska doesn't throw vertically to back safeties up etc etc etc" and then not give credit to Barthel for helping Johnson become an All American. Someone had to do something right for that to happen.

I thought Satterfield might move on, the money they are saving with his pay cut should go to defensive linemen. The money they are saving with DL coach should go to defensive linemen. The money they are saving by promoting Josh Martin to STC (this is an assumption) should also go to defensive linemen.

No that report was two years ago when our staff was still intact from the first hire. I compared the sums to the combined current salary list from OWH and others, and our total on salaries for ACs and coordinators is still WAY behind the big boy salaries totals FROM TWO YEARS AGO >>>>>>>

How exactly do you imagine practices went in your head? Barthel working with all the RBs and EJ working with Brown on the side? Barthel fisting his butt and Brown working with all the RBs?

All I know is that Barthel and Brown worked with RBs in most practices.
