I agree some but it’s still on Sark. I would give Arch the benefit but of the doubt but he has been there for 2.5 years. He should be way better.

He for sure knows the State from previous stint w/ Owls and Bama before that. The program has some big issues, and the AD might not be long for his job. I would hate to see him there, but he can get Miss as an every year program as well. I'd imagine they'd have to match on NIL and salary.

All that has changed, and you've seen the money Miss is spending now. FU never got there until 90s. Before that, basically Ole Miss. NIL and playoff has changed the landscape greatly of programs that now have ability to get the talent and make a run.

Regardless you still have to have the right coach. NIL definitely evened the field out, but it wasn’t long ago Lane was throwing a shit fit.
