Other games 2025

Good for ND. Kill all the bowls TBH so fans of mediocre programs can't thump their chest at winning 6-7 games which 80 some other schools do every year.

Logically, it should hit them in the wallet if they do as they’ve just cost their conference mates a share of that bowl payout money.
Yeah maybe they get fined. Not sure if we did when frosty and team opted out to enjoy winter break

It's gonna be funny to watch people rationalize why dropping Ohio St for their close loss to #2 is fine, but dropping Alabama after getting nuked by #3 is not fine.
I mean Ohio St lost to the team they dropped behind. That makes perfect sense. Dropping Alabama behind teams that didn't play makes no sense to me.

What's crazy to me is flip flopping Miami and ND when neither team played. Having said that ND shouldn't have been ahead of Miami last week. Its all craziness.

Teams move up all the time on bye weeks when teams in front of them played and lost. And teams losing their CCG have been punished in the past and even lost playoff spots for losing.

Yeah that part is absurd

Not sure what a bowl game cost the school - charter flights, hotels, meals, buying tickets etc - might be about $500k for all I know
Payout from the bowl would be well over that.

Not sure how the conference splits bowl revenue, but their turning down the bowl means every other team in the conference takes a financial hit, so Big Twelve is trying to recoup some of that.
