Rivals is going to die like Scout did soon enough. It will then just be 247 and On3. There's always been two, so not so big of a difference there.

The opportunity for Sipple IMHO is in whether or not his site can actually break news. Or actually provide insider content. The insider content we get on HOL/RSS is nothing...followed by an official announcement... followed by Dean's "yeah, I knew that a week ago, I just couldn't say anything." 247 isn't doing a ton better. And even Sipple himself goes on the radio and says "I know more than I can say" etc. So no one's actually breaking any major insider news here.

You basically have the proprietors of these "insider" websites that are too afraid to lose their access so they don't break any news. The actual insider info is 95% from posters on their message boards, not content from the proprietors.

The way CFB programs operate now it's extremely difficult to do break any big news, bc the second they do, the HC will pull their media access. If Sipple can find a way to actually break some insider program news then he'll do well. But right now we basically get the same thing from Dean and Schaefer and we'll probably just get a similar product from Sipple.

Rivals just owns the publishing rights to HuskerOnline content. On June 1st those will expire and HuskerOnline will switch to publishing through On3. The staff are all moving over. Because Rivals still owns the rights, I don't believe any kind of formal announcement can be made until the transition actually occurs. All users will have to switch over themselves which I suspect is why it's only $1 for a full year. You will save money by switching no matter when your last renewal with rivals occurred.

We’ve already got some of the best inside info. Imagine if we got someone on here that recruits trusted and could call on them prior to and after visits.

I would love to do this, Honestly I just don't have enough time and I would be need to be paid for it. Plus I would fit in right away with local Husker recruiting journalists because my grammar is below average.
