Are people still acting like Isaac was a worthwhile recruit? Or just his dad?



A coach who's acting kinda jealous of the guy who currently holds the job that he got fired from?

I think it's his uncle, but yeah. I didn't think a PWO was unreasonable, but anyone thinking he deserved a scholarship had done lost their mind

I am pretty sure it is just his family.... I think his uncle is just pissy that his kid wasn't wanted by NU.

I still think you take him as a PWO just avoid the negativity and maybe you get lucky, but it looks more and more like it was the right thing to do and pass on him.

He's like a sophomore walk on though. Not being on the 3 deep seems pretty standard at any school that hasn't been a burning dumpster fire at OL since Barney Cotton left. To use a generic example that could apply to anyone

2018 we're running a watered down version of the Oregon Spread
2019 we're running the Wandale Robinson show
2020 we can't hit a pass outside of 14 yards and turn to a receiver as QB
2021 is the year of holy shit how did that happen and quite a bit of option play

Yeah you never saw an identity form... If you don't know who you are wanting to be how can you develop to it?

I 100% thought that Isaac would be Cam's heir to the throne. But, for all I know, would the coaching be even any good knowing what we know now? Probably not

Yeah, sounded like he was a hell of a HS player, but he isn't translating to P5 football. I still think you take him as a PWO and if he makes it great....If he doesn't then it is on the kid just not having it. It also probably builds up some good will in Omaha with the coaches.... or at least avoids some bad will.
