TBH there's probably not a ton Turd could have done. He takes the job 3/18. I'm guessing Horns people probably were sending feelers to Schloss's people throughout the season as they forecasted that Texas current HC may not be long for the gig.

Schloss probably made this decision before they even got to Omaha. Turd's only recourse was to summon the Brinks truck to keep Schloss there & even that may not have worked as JS close friends with Del Conte. There probably wasn't much for Turd to do other than take the L on this and move on as quick as possible. And move on to FB season as quick as possible (where he's really going to be judged).


We here at tPB should not let this get in the way of our "Let's all make fun of Turd" time. Because Turd is forever a turd.

And if the Gags struggle this CFB season it's gonna get very ugly for Turd. It's going to be hard for Turd to parlay this into a CFP commissioner type role if he ended his last job by getting run out of town.
