I'm glad we have all these recruiting sites so the Omaha World Herald can get us the info first.

Interesting as the On3 Florida site posted this about the same time the OWH article went up

Multiple starters from Baylor University who recently entered the NCAA Transfer Portal are officially visiting Florida this weekend, sources tell Gaytors Online.

One of them is 6-foot-5, 330-pound Micah Mazzccua, who started 10 games at left guard this past season. He is currently at Auburn for an official visit and then heading to Gainesville shortly thereafter.

A former Under Armour All-American, Mazzccua earned additional offers from Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and others from his time at St. Francis Academy in Baltimore.

After redshirting in 2020, Mazzccua appeared in nine games in 2021 before starting 10 games this past season. The Gaytors are on the hunt for several replacements along the ofensive line, with Mazzccua being a top target.

Safety Al Walcott, Mazzccua’s teammate at Baylor, is set to spend this weekend at the Swamp as well. He accumulated 82 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception and four pass breakups in 2022. His three interceptions in 2021 was tied for the third most in the Big 12 Conference.

If we somehow managed to land Scott, Rouse, and Mazzccua from the portal that changes the entire trajectory of how next season could go.

If you get the two OL, you’ll have basically 9-10 guys who have all played a lot of snaps at the P5 level.

Rouse
Micah
Teddy
Nouili
Scott
Cork
Luto
Benhart
Pieper
Anthony

All of a sudden you’ve got 10 guys battling for 5 spots that have all played.

Add this to having two extremely experienced P5 QBs and two more behind them who have played and that’s some serious depth.

The Trey Palmer season has to a huge selling point/benefit to a WR looking at us. Can come in and be the guy with our current roster.

I know the coaching change and all of that, but still think it's got to help seeing that it's been done here successfully. Idk

Stable QB situation I think is the biggest piece of it.
