Dean essentially gave a non-confirming confirmation. Essentially hinting that something did happen but can’t come out and report anything official until someone from family or university goes on the record.

Basically we’ll find out post-practice tomorrow or Wednesday or when/if Fidone decides to put something out himself.

That's why he's the top insider for all of western nebraska. I'll have something when it's public knowledge.

I was told early that he would be the most improved 0/1 tech in the B1G last year.

Also have been told Nash is physically exactly what they want from a NG. Now it is on coach T to develop. Wouldn't be surprised to see him this year some.

I don't know the extent to additional damage. He just said ACL and didn't mention anything else.

If ACL or even other ligaments, that's an easy fix and recovery now. If you have cartilage needing removed, that's where long term swelling/pain/issues come in.

I guess with Allen and Vokolek it’s not a major loss this fall, let him heal up, take a redshirt and get ready next year when we will absolutely need him.

Late October is what is projected return. Would still have that 4-game redshirt if absolutely needed him.

It would be nice to have that 3rd TE that contributes. With Hickman moving back to TE, he'll get a lot of snaps. Base O is Hippo with 2 TEs, 2 WRs, 1 Back.

If it wasn’t for a short season, Allen was on pace for 27 catches last season, Stoll had 25 the season before. Among the many issues the offense has, when Frost’s offense exploded in 2017 Akins was a tremendous athlete they had at TE who brought in 32 catches that year, but the eye popping stat was his 16.1 average on yards per catch, where Nebraska’s leading TE over the last 2 seasons have averaged 10 ypc.
