Ugly win but a wins a win. We’ve lost so many of these types of games over the years so I’m going to enjoy it.
Welcome to The Platinum Board. We are a Nebraska Husker news source and fan community.

So what is the logic here? That Dylan is so mad at Satterfield that he is just missing throws on purpose? So mad at Satterfield that he's just taking sacks on purpose?
I'm not sure what else Satterfield was supposed to do with a QB who looked like a literal zombie today. Seems like an idiotic take to blame the OC. Dylan looked like he was on a weed bender last night and didn't sleep.

100% flip Foley for Busch. Should’ve already been that wayWe aren’t in a position to complain about wins.
Not worried about offense. I think specials was so bad that it took away a ton of chances our offense could have had. There’s very little that I’d be willing to do if I were an OC and I started on my 2 with the wind the way it was.
Defense was special.
Special teams needs to be fired into the sun. Once again this unit is terrible and needs to get figured out forthwith.
There’s a dude who does radio shows in Lincoln who I am sure would be willing to help.
We need to get over Busch. He's stated multiple times he has no interest in coaching for Nebraska again.100% flip Foley for Busch. Should’ve already been that way

I have decided - I don't like the 3-3-4 alignment. I didn't like it when I heard this is what TW likes, and after a season and a half, I still don't like it. It works against bad teams because you can get away with it. Against better teams, you have to bring the heat and control the LOS. Bring heat and that means DB's and LB's don't have to cover as long in coverage. Opposing offenses get scrambled up when consistent pressure is brought.
We have the edge rushers. We have a very stout interior DL group. Put them together, and you have something really good. Mess around and try to cheat the system (get away with not rushing enough DL guys), and you not only get beat by the run, but also the pass when pressure is not enough. We can line up 4 more, fine. But a 3 man front on defense - we are not good enough to do it and beat the better teams.
The 3-3-5 isn't the issue IMHO. Its not playing to it's strengths which is constant changing coverages and ever changing blitzes. I realize you can't blitz all the time, but when we need pressure we aren't always bringing it.I have decided - I don't like the 3-3-4 alignment. I was hoping rhule was telling the refs to watch for a swipe at the ball at the snap. Pretty sure scumbag Schiano has tried that before.haven’t gone through to see if it’s been said - but fuck Schiano and what he does on defense in victory formations. Jackass
He did when we played there in 2022. Pretty sure we “fumbled” because of itI was hoping rhule was telling the refs to watch for a swipe at the ball at the snap. Pretty sure scumbag Schiano has tried that before.

Having the endzone view today, it’s hard to say how the receivers played. Banks was held a couple times when trying to break open.I think part of what goes on with Dylan in second halves is that he is so serious about not losing the game that he paralyzes himself and keeps himself from winning the game.
He is far more reluctant to throw the ball and much more likely to take sacks when we are holding on to a lead.
Also, there’s the small issue of a very few of our receivers getting open. (And we got no help with defensive holding/DPI calls today.)
