Game Thread Official Indianus Game Day Thread

Nah, I'm tired of bringing in retreads like him and Busch. Let's bring someone who's actually qualified to coach that position.

I didn't say Busch.

Ron Brown is already on staff, and knowing him well, I have no doubt that he would at the very least get our WR's blocking well. I know he is old, but from clips I have seen of him coaching, he still looks spry and I doubt he would put up with this pathetic WR play.

That being said, I get your point. Ron Brown already on staff could just be put into a role where he helps our kid WR coach out and tries to improve the WR blocking (and overall play). IDK if that is what they have Ron Brown doing right now - doubt it, seeing how bad our WR blocking and play is. In any case, we need to get so much better at all phases of WR play. No need to officially move Ron Brown to WR coach, just slide him into a role where he is doing that on the field in practices. Something has to change and improve.

Man this is so embarrassing
We are a 2nd half team playing a gimpy qb.
Buckle up boys going to be a big come back

Raiola has had a lot of time to throw and threw it away.
Good
Coverage by Indianus or is he hesitant to let it rip

Everyone sucked that half obviously.

I'm a little disappointed we couldn't draw up anything on D to beat this O or at least get some stops. We had 2 weeks to prepare for it

They may just be that good though

It's certainly not. Preseason i would have said 8 wins is progress, but I'd grant 7 is probably progress since Indianus is much better than expected.

Still, depressing af man
If we would win 7 in the end and play the rest of the teams hard in losses outside OSU you might be able to sell progress, but Rhule’s coaching staff isn’t a top caliber BIG staff by any means. We should expect better for what we are paying the assistants.

I know you didn't say Busch, but people are always rooting for him to be on the staff. Ron Brown is like herpes and can't get rid of him no matter who's the coach. Nebraska is/was a blue blood and we have a WR coach who has no experience in the playing nor coaching the position. I know that R Brown can assist, but Rhule needs to hire better people and the let the kid go and work for his dad at Texas Tech.
