He has more time to throw than any Nebraska QB in the last 20 years. I would like to see the full film to determine how many times no one is open vs how many times he doesn’t see someone open.

Don't know if they are excuses, but reasons. DR has also shrunk badly the last several games. He lost his confidence.

But it is not easy to have confidence with poor play calling, poor blocking, poor route running and overall shit for offensive scheme. RB's are mid at best so no running game. Running game gets us behind the sticks consistently.

We are only decent against poor competition. Even with a 5 star QB who IS really good, but a frosh, and now rattled badly. This is how you regress as a program - poor coaching hires, poor scheme, and not enough playmakerrs on either side of the ball. Oh, and AWFUL special teams. Bad in all phases at this point. One true frosh 5 star QB is not making up for all of that shit show.

Add poor QB fundamentals to this as well. When he stepped into the throw and drove it to Fidone on the sideline of the first drive, it may have been the first time he has done it all year. How many open guys had he under thrown or thrown behind them because he throws off his back foot falling away?

I hope this finally ends the Tony White hype. He built his resume playing horrible Big10 offenses. Any good offense he's ever faced has made him look foolish.

Forget about the HC jobs, he won't be a viable DC candidate when decent openings come up. This guy's street cred is unraveling like he's late stage Bo Pelini.
