I think being average this season is their absolute ceiling.
And that’s if all the starters stay 100% healthy the entire season, which never happens. We’ll most likely lose one in camp and a couple more during the season.
4-5 wins because of the OL talent level and lack of depth.
Tried to keep a close eye on Scott Frost and see where he was spending his time. He spent about two minutes in a QB drill, and that was it. He spoke with a writer for a little while and then Turd Alberts as well.
I’ve told this story before but I once attended an Oklahoma St practice. Gundy came out about 15 minutes after practice started. He glad handed with boosters and former players. He then stood on the sideline with us HS coaches for a while. Then he went to the crows nest with a headset. When practice was over he came down, said a few words to the team and then went inside to watch film.
It was easily the most aggressive I've seen the DBs play during 1 v 1s and skelly. A few penalties but overall it was aggressive and WRs/TEs didn't match their intensity today.
Fish had his boys ready to play and I'm sure the chirping Friday was the motivation.
It's actually refreshing to see and actually back it up. But it can go one of 2 ways. Today was what chirping gets you when you go up against someone willing to shut you up with pads.
