I said the same thing on the previous page. It’s sad that even the optimists know we are getting ass pounded next year.
It's kind of nice though. There's no insane articles to read. No weird "this is our year" kind of press releases from UNL. No dumb fan polls about going 10-2 and making the CFP.
Just a zero hype offseason. It's a nice change.

Media will convince everyone we're gonna be good by the time the season comes around. But assuming they don't, fans will definitely get hyped again as soon as we get a new staff (thanks, Troy). As long as our AD doesn't do some truly next level dumb shit like they usually do. But even then, never underestimate the level of our fans' mental gymnastics... plenty of people convinced themselves Mike Riley was answer.
