Horn & Blachowicz were both committed to Wichita State and Siri brought them with him. There was another, but Childress dropped him last summer.

Siri has some JUCO guys, but I don't believe any were committed to Wichita State since this is year 2 for him in Lincoln. He's extremely well connected and respected in the Kansas JUCO circle, and Kansas high schools as well, so I'm excited to see what he can continue to do for us...

I was in and out of watching this game, but this is the shit I live for! A ball on the outside part of the plate goes to the opposite field. Great piece of hitting on an 0-2 count. Nothing good ever comes from getting way out in front of an off-speed pitch or a ball on the outer half.

I still like Horn a lot. But I’ll tell you that Jasa has really impressed me as well. Bodies like him with arms like him don’t often find their way to Lincoln. That’s an SEC arm. As us baseball junkies will say, he’s very “projectable” to the next level.

Just doing a brief late night breakdown on Horn’s stats -

Just as I had suspected, the first inning is the majority of the problem for him. Eight of his sixteen earned runs have come in that frame.
