Unlike Fred, Bolt has won championships here. I’m in favor of canceling the Basketball program and giving all the freed up funding/NIL to Bolt and the baseball program. Need to get some quality pitching talent in there. We’ve got a couple of good arms but we need DEPTH

Huskers are being aggressive. I’m not sure if they’re being smart at the plate. I’m not liking the pitch selection so far. Swinging at a ton of pitcher’s pitches that have ended up being outs.

The expectations at Nebraska currently exceed the resources provided. We are not going to sign the level of talent needed to get to Omaha if that doesn’t change. Sorry, not sorry.

I don’t mean to regurgitate information from people on this board and claim it as my own. But @PonyBoy has been on this point for a solid 4 years.

When kids go down south and see the resources at those schools compared to what we have it’s not even a choice.

This inning he walked a guy. Wild pitch sent him to second. A soft hit ball to first gets him to third. A soft base hit on a pretty solid pitch the guy hit off the end of the bat past the second baseman plates a run.

Bolt and company will get things figured out of the course of the next few weeks. We should have a pretty good record by the time we face off against Oregon State. Would have helped our RPI a lot if we had beaten LSU or KSU this weekend though.
