I thought it was Game 3 vs Maryland in 2022. Neither team had anything to gain from it. Supposed to start at 1, they delayed the start because of potential weather. It didn't start raining until the game would have been over.

By canceling the game, they locked up a 7 seed, which knocked Nebraska out I believe.

You are probably right. I couldn’t remember the scenario or the other team. But yes, they essentially canceled a game so they’d have a higher seed and we were done.

Purdue refused to pull the tarp in 2022 against Maryland in the last B1G game of the regular season. Rain was expected then cleared but they didn't budge.

Had they played the game and lost, their win % would've bumped them out of the B1G tournament. Greg Goff is a pussy bitch.
