Bring in Broderick with 2 on No outs in 7th and to the last 3 hitters (2 lefties), Childress didn't call a single fastball. Broderick throws 94+, you have to at least SHOW the fastball. Could make that slider play up even more.

Been preaching it all season.

Leise finally called, in a roundabout way, Childress out on the broadcast regarding the number of sliders.

Indiana had 30 regular season wins last year (30-22-1) then went 2-2 in the B1Gt for a 32-24 record.

We're currently 22-23 with 10 games left.
Yes but the tournament committee doesn't give two shits about big ten baseball teams. Isn’t it mostly a southern run committee? I just feel like we pretty much have to win the big ten tournament to get in this year considering how we have played and how they treat northern schools. Maybe their perception of the big ten will be improved with the addition of the pac 10 teams but I doubt it. I just go back to the Covid year where we won the conference and they stuck us in the hardest regional that year against Arkansas. I don’t feel like it was a storyline thing, DVH vs WB, I heard more people talk about the committee felt the big ten doesn’t care about baseball and they are right. Then last year with the whole Florida debacle and I thought to myself had that been a big ten team with that SOS and record, no way would they have been in. I remember you talking about it specifically how the SEC coaches threw a fit that Florida was originally out and the committee went back and put them in AFTER they had the field set. Maybe it’s the sandy vag but I just feel like we are going to be on the outside unless we win the conference tournament again EVEN if we won all of our last 10 games.

Ahh - Well they played the hardest schedule in the country and they were good. We, sir, are very bad.
I would say were very average (at least over the last month since the offense has finally come around), but definitely a disappointment from the expectations no doubt. And Childress is a head scratcher.
