I don't know where to start with the pen.

Last year Sears and Mac gave us 14 IP every weekend. This year all three combined don't give us that. That can hide a lot

Yeah if you’re having to go to the pen in the 4/5 inning every Friday or Saturday you’re in trouble.

I get the midweek in game pen for the Saturday guy, but I have never been a fan of it. The arm puts in a lot more work in a real game (adrenaline) than a bullpen. Probably trying to get him some in-game confidence after Saturday's outing. Burning the redshirts is inexcusable.

edit: he is the Saturday guy now right? they have moved stuff around I cant keep track
