Sign Up Now!I'm not a baseball savant... but do they replace the left-handed Stone at DH with another left-hander in Bradford? Bradford has some pop but also has some speed.
Gotta do it the hard way again
Highly doubtful. Stone had a rough game, but he did deliver in the 8th. Caron has to tag on that.
If anything, they'll go Swanny DH & Evans in LF. Or Sanderson will DH & Evans in RF.
Stone has earned his time.
He had no margin for error, line out to center and his first couple steps were towards home and then didn’t have time to tag up.I had to leave the place I was at and didn’t see the 8th.
How bad was Caron’s mistake?

Based on how Niagara is looking... will they still go with McConnaughey tomorrow?Highly doubtful. Stone had a rough game, but he did deliver in the 8th. Caron has to tag on that.

Have to... absolutely.Based on how Niagara is looking... will they still go with McConnaughey tomorrow?
I don't think I trust either 100%. Even after Walsh game in the BIG tournament.See I’m on the fence…. Do you go Walsh or Brockett? 😬😬
I think I trust them more against a Niagara team than Okie State or Florida.I don't think I trust either 100%. Even after Walsh game in the BIG tournament.
Well you do have a point there. Tough spot to be in.I think I trust them more against a Niagara team than Okie State or Florida.
Yeah, honestly I’m pretty impressed that we kept them to five runs. They can absolutely tear the cover off the ball but our pitchers got some big strikeouts (and lucky line outs) in big situations. Not like we ran into a buzz saw. Sears hung a couple shitty 2 strike pitches and it cost him. He seemed generally sloppy and not sharp, so credit to him for only giving up 3.
They generally hit the piss out of the ball. We’re kind of lucky they didn’t score more, but we also had some hard hit balls go for outs.
Shoulda tagged their pitcher early when his breaking ball was ass. Was solid after that, though. If that kid can put it together he looks to be a hell of a pitcher.
And then they had some kid who had played in 5 games hit 3 doubles! Not sure we have that kind of talent just hanging out on our bench.
The no tag sucked, but it’s been covered. Not capitalizing with bases loaded and 1 out also sucked.
