Man our big three has disappeared so hard in this tournament. Not shit for production from Brice, Max or Swanson.
Max coming into the game today was 7 for 13 in the tournament.

He’s a man without a position without quite the level of power you’d like to see for someone who may end up as a DH. But maybe he’ll surprise everyone and keep gaining strength and turn into a right handed Kyle Schwarber.I’ve always liked his game. I go back and forth on him as a big league prospect though.
But he's not hitting anything significant like he usually does. Which I suppose speaks to the high bar he's set for himself. But I believe he only has one RBI to this point.Max coming into the game today was 7 for 13 in the tournament.
Edit: Evans hits a single and Everitt gets walked, just as I totally predicted.Story book prediction: Maryland walks Evans and Burnham, Matthews comes up and clears the bases for the walk off win, bad back and all.
Did I say Everitt walks? I mean whifs.Edit: Evans hits a single and Everitt gets walked, just as I totally predicted.
I give up.Did I say Everitt walks? I mean whifs.

Especially when you consider Maryland did the exact same thing to us Thursday, just on the other side of the fence.you can only laugh. 6 feet short of almost winning, another classic Nebraska men’s sports play.
