It really is amazing how bad Nebraska is after the first couple of pitchers. That being said, this is the kind of game this team needs to win just to prove to themselves they can. They lose pretty much all of their games like these under Bolt.

All things considered, bullpen did their part today by only allowing 4 runs over 7 innings. Rizzo was the only bullpen disappointment today in his 1/3 inning.

Bullpen had 5 different guys this weekend toss 12 combined innings, gave up 5 runs, 16 K's & 3 BB. Take out Rizzo and it's 11.2 innings, 3 runs, 16 K's & 2 BB. I'll take that every weekend for the rest of the year as we'll pile up weekend series - and some sweeps - with those numbers over a 3 game set.
