I agree. My point is out of any lower tier conference the Mac actually produces a fair amount of legit coaches who go to power 5 programs and actually have success. The more I think about it my top logical choice is Bill O’Brien.Lots of great coaches come through non-P5 places, but for the moment Nebraska is at with the potential advantage NIL offers in crootin, it seems imperative to me to hire a guy who has spent at least some time recruiting in P5 college football, preferably at a place that is good at it
Did you play for him?Bill O'Boyle...Bill O'Boyle...not for HC...but for OL coach.
That's an easy decision.Gun to your head: Frost comes back in 2023 or Bill O'Boyle head man

No. But have seen his teams play and been in clinics when he spoke. He's top notch. OL's he's coached are always in the top portion of the country in rushing.Did you play for him?
I actually don't hate this idea. But he's comitted to making JSU a legitimate program, and I hope he succeeds.Would Corch Prime come here?
I remember him coaching against UNK when Woodhead was there . They had the game on tv and my buddy knocked Woodhead out in the first half which pissed me off because I wanted to see Woodhead do his thing. Anyways unk is kicking their ass at halftime. They do an interview with O’Boyle he basically says he isn’t worried and things will work out in our favor the second half. Chadron won. You could also tell his players loved him when they brought the game ball to his house after he was suspended.No. But have seen his teams play and been in clinics when he spoke. He's top notch. I don't think that would be the case. He wouldn't run the flexbone, and I'd think that would be one of the first things he'd say to prevent that.He may be a great coach, but you're going to seriously impact recruiting and have immediate roster drain. Don't want.
I think it's likely you have a situation like when Arizona almost hired Niumatalolo, and they got bullied into slamming on the brakes by their QB. Same talk on changing the offense, but you're going to have an immediate adverse signaling effect to overcome. Like you'd have a hail mary to retain a guy like Malachi Coleman. Sure, maybe with time you overcome that perception, but it's an uphill battle. Reason why he didn't get the job at bottom feeders like KU and Illinois.I don't think that would be the case. He wouldn't run the flexbone, and I'd think that would be one of the first things he'd say to prevent that.

And that’s just head coaches. It feels like an overwhelming majority of assistants we’ve had over the years have not helped their resumes at all by coming here. There is no way it’s this bad at other places. If we didn’t have bad luck we’d have no luck at all.I have heard people worry that a guy like Rhule would move on at some point. It would be fucking amazing if we could have a coach be successful enough to leave of his own accord to take another job.
Mike Riley at the New Jersey Generals is arguably the best job any former NU head coach has been able to nab this century.
Die?That's an easy decision.
BUMP. We look softer than Clay’s boys.If you think Frost teams are soft you are not going to want Helton. What is Herman doing now? The others...yeah why not?
