I know I'm stating the obvious, but we really need this Will-Rhule-stay-or-will-he-go? thing resolved sooner than later.
We seem to be making good progress with recruting, especailly for the '27 class, but all the actual progress toward landing these guys is going to be in limbo until they know if this staff is going to be here next year or not. I find it hard to believe anyone is going to commit under the current circumstances.

Now, maybe Rhule already knows he's going to be back next year and is telling recruits that (as Taylor and Oden announcding they were solid to N after intially expressing doubt after the PSU news broke (at least in Taylor's case) points to), but even Rhule telling that privately isn't going to stop other schools from making a big deal of it.
I just don't think this is as big of a thing out in the rest of the world as it is for the hyper-online Nebraska forum crowd.

Also, with the insane amount of coaching vacancies this year, pretty much every worthwhile coach in the country is rumored to be on the board for someone else. How many college coaches can you say with 100% certainty are going to be back at their same job next year? It's not many.

I agree with the general sentiment, which is why it’s maddening that agents have sold ADs on the idea that if you don’t give the coach an extension (and another and another) you’ll never be able to hold the program together.
