October 1 drinking thread

Sippin on this tonight watchin kinda crappy football. If you don’t already have it, highly suggested. I basically always have a bottle of this on my whiskey shelf. Probably the best $30 bottle I’ve ever had.

Nah we are on tank water. I think we get 600 gallons delivered every week for about 300 a month but don't quote me on that. Only two neighborhoods, maybe a 1/4 of the people, have piped water but the pipes are pretty old so it stains everything a urine yellow eventually.
Fancy!

So the yearly water bill basically takes up your permanent fund check in three months? Holy shit! This is poorly worded, but I think it get's the point across, at least until @Elizabeth Reed gets here.

But I guess it's better to have that water for homebrew than the piped system.

You can always tell new people in town because of the glazed sticker shock look. It's actually a big sticking point every time the union does teacher contract negotiations. The village teachers, can't have alcohol and miss out on stores etc., but their housing is provided and since there isn't a private market it can be written off on the taxes. I was paying 1375 a month for a studio before I moved over the summer.

Why do you hate me?? .......🤔
