NU turnover margin since 2004: -105 (worst in P5)

Offense that turns it over too much + a defense (minus a couple seasons) that doesn't create any turnovers. That's been the combo last 20 years. I'm surprised it hasn't worked.

several years ago on another board I did a breakdown just of fumbles and it was shocking how few fumbles our defense has created. and they haven't been especially good at recovering the ones that do happen. meanwhile our offense fumbles the ball like it's their fucking job. it's just mind blowing to me that over 20 years with all the player turnover and different coaches/philosophies that the team looks exactly the same year after year
