Side note:

I’ll say TAMU is on 🔥 for their ‘27 class, I read the Wiltfong article and 🤯. He says they are in the lead group for about six to seven 5 ⭐️ players.
Aren't these the same guys that bought the best class money could buy that first year of NIL then everybody left?

A little different situation considering they will be coming off a playoff appearance and appear to be building something before they drop their wad of cash.

Can’t seem to care about 26 high school recruits. Especially at oline if they are getting nil.
Need to save every penny for transfers that can play right away
You gotta keep a pipeline going for both lines though. Nebraska will struggle to land top tier portal tackles so the best bet to elite line play is still building with HS guys

I could be wrong, but I’d venture to guess that all of the best OLs in the country are almost all comprised of HS recruits that were developed correctly over several years.

Someone had posted a comparison showing that many of the "top" OL groups had 2+ xfers starting. Think Oregon had four.
