So everyone assumes Raiola is gonna transfer??

Just a thought, he hits his open TE against Illinois and this whole season is different.
Very few people think Raiola is going to transfer. He knew what he was signing up for when he came and he seems like he genuinely gives a shit about Nebraska and building something

From The Fong about an hour ago:

Latest prediction in favor of Nebraska

Tuesday afternoon I joined On3 colleague Chad Simmons in logging a prediction in favor of Nebraska for Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley On300 edge rusher Dawson Merritt.

Merritt has been a verbal to Alabama since June 26 but has visited Nebraska a few times since giving the Crimson Tide a pledge.

All the momentum is now with Nebraska.

The On3 Industry tabs Merritt as the nation’s No. 14 edge and No. 115 prospect overall.

More potential flips on the horizon

Omaha (Neb.) Millard South four-star tight end and Florida State commit Chase Loftin continues to keep the Huskers very warm. He’s been on campus this fall for practice and a game. Texas A&M is in the mix as well. There is some confidence he could stick with FSU.

Sources continue to indicate that Nebraska is still in the thick of it for Homestead (Fla.) High On300 receiver Cortez Mills. A pledge to the Sooners since July 1, Mills returned to Lincoln for the win over Colorado.

Waipahu (Hawaii) Kahuku safety and California commit Aiden Manutai looks to be trending towards the Huskers.

The big fish still out there

The nation’s No. 1 athlete in San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry III may be trending towards Texas on the On3 RPM but communication remains strong with Nebraska and the Terry family. Huskers look like they’ll be in it till the end pushing the Longhorns in this one.

“They were just here Thursday,” Terry’s father said. “Rhule and (Garret) McGuire. Flew down Thursday and spent awhile.”

Nebraska is still battling uphill against Texas but the fight continues.

Merrit visiting for WiscyDicks game
When asked how confident they are about Merrit flipping to N in this morning's HOL chat:

Sipple: "Confidence high"
Munnson: "Based on the % next to the predictions....around 60%. There are some pretty good indicators for it to happen."
Washut: "Feels like a done deal."
Callahan: "Very. My guess is sometime this week."

Seems like they know something.

And on Michael Terry:
Munnson: "Nebraska still has some work to do here, but the fact he remains uncommitted is definitely related to Nebraska's efforts to try and convince him to leave the state."
Callahan: "I'll just say this: Nebraska remains very much in it with Terry at this point."

The On 3 guys - the local guys as well as Wiltfong and Simmons - probably know because of their co-worker:
