Kinchen has a lot of long runs for someone that looks to run a 4.9 40. Anyone know what kind of competition he's going against?

Interesting that snuck by most of the Recruiting Beatniks. Odd that Javon is 2 years older than Trevon, yet they both just enrolled. Also said they played high school football in Georgia but Miami is listed as their hometown. Trevon rushed for over 1,600 yds his SR year of high school in Atlanta but doesn't even have a rating by the recruiting services.

Weird considering that article you posted calls them twins and they graduated the same year.

this is VERY pessimistic given the tenor of most SoonerScoop articles

Sooners Still in the Running for Elite OL?

Oklahoma’s work in the class of 2024 is largely done with 27 current commitments in the class following the decision of Reggie Powers on Saturday. One of the most notable prospects remaining on the board is Logan (Cockeye) Logan-Magnolia top 100 offensive lineman Grant Brix.
Brix, who I’ve had a prediction in for Oklahoma with since October 14, made his way to Nebraska last weekend and from all reports things went very well in Lincoln. To the point that many Huskers insiders put in predictions for Nebraska to land the elite prospect. Obviously Brix would be a huge win for Matt Rhule and co. and their first win over the Sooners for a lineman since Turner Corcoran in the 2020 class.
However, in talking to some people there is still belief, if not quite confidence, in Norman in regard to Brix.
The Sooners are hoping to host him for an unofficial visit on Nov. 11 when West Virginia comes to town. With Brix hope can be a dangerous thing. The reality is that all parties involved have thought they were close to a decision at one time or another.
Still though the Sooners chances remain very real and if they can get him on campus it could be argued that’s a tremendously good sign for their prospects in landing him next month.

Regardless of where he goes, I hope this young buck is a February signee.
