Was kind of hoping the no block, no rock was a Walters thing.

I’m just a simple guy, @Jim14510- but seems to me if you play the top rated WR’s, (gasp* who are very close to seeing playing time) they would actually be better blockers than our beloved walk-ons because there would actually be a deep threat (even if the talented WR’s aren’t quite ready).

Exactly! Man coverage the WR doesn't even necessarily try to block at all on run plays. The best block can be running a route to try to get the corner to follow them.
