NIL Paying off in Texas..

If we can raise the money for the facilities, we can drum up salaries for our players. We have a fucking loser attitude because too many believe in the long defunct “Nebraska way”
For every person/company we have donating a 7-8 figures to build a new facility Texas has 20 conservatively.

It's not about accepting anything. It's about the reality that Nebraska has 2 million people. Texas has 29 million. You and I will have zero effect on this.

Again you can be angry and complain about it but that's like complaining that Bezos has more money than you.

That's why it's crazy of anyone to think that Nebraska is a big player in the NIL game. It's just not going to happen. There isn't enough money. We're Jim Fourteenfiveten CPA firm competing against PWC.

Right…”loosely affiliated” is the key word.

The entity would need to set up and run by non-university employees.

Think of it like the relationship between a politician and PAC. The politician can’t actually control the PAC, but someone closely aligned with the politician can.
So you tell Joe Fanboy instead of tickets being $200 they are $100. However, we'd like you to take that saved $100 and donate it to Husker Victory Fund. How many Joe Fanboys pocket all or the majority of that $100?

Official ding check in thread really needs to take off if we're going to save DONU

Joe Fanboy can get to the back of the fucking line for seat priority if he doesn’t donate.

There are also way more CFB teams in Texas. There’s a disparity, but it’s not as bad as you’re making it seem. Additionally, Nebraska has always been at a disadvantage compared to Texas. It’s not like it’s something new.

And nearly 1/3 of our 2 million live in Omaha, so at least half are Cockeye or Oregon fans.
