He’s no Tom Brady but he’s pretty good

I wouldn’t have him ahead of Brady yet.. I put him in the mix with Montana and Peyton right now
I absolutely hate judging quarterbacks by wins, because it's misleading.

However....Tom Brady has 35 playoff wins. Mahomes has 15.

If Mahomes goes anywhere nearly as long as Tom he's got a real shot at the title. But never underestimate being the best for a really really really long time.

Ya pretty much the only argument Tom has about Mahomes has to do with longevity. The fact Brady did what he did for how long he did is fucking impressive.

Pretty much any per game/year stat favors Mahomes... For example, this year Mahomes passes Brady for post season wins sub age 30 and he is 28 right now. Pretty much any statistical category (yards, TDs passer rating, etc...) favors Mahomes on a per year basis. Mahomes in the playoffs down 7+ in the playoffs wins at an +80% clip and the next closest player is Brady at 42%.

I think what will be interesting is how he adjusts when Reid and Kelce retire.

I think there's some stat inflation that needs to be accounted for but Mahomes is on pace in the winning category which is really all that anyone really remembers

I mean most Chiefs fans are also Kansas/Kstate/Mizzou fans so the more the merrier in the farm animal category, I assume
Yeah... I like to think of myself as a sophisticated fan. Royals.. Straight Misery 33 out of 35 years (or some shit) I am 32 and have like 2003, 2013,14,15 as good years with baseball. Nebraska, we haven't won a game that mattered in my life TBH. Chiefs... were dog shit until Andy and then didn't pose a threat until they drafted the greatest QB of all-time. Outside of 2015 Royals my life as a sports fan was terrible until this Chiefs run.

I get why people hate though. It sucks, everyone wants their team to be the one.

I think he can absolutely get there and he doesn't even have to go to 45 or whatever Brady did.

Honestly if he keeps this pace up for another 8-10 it'd be tough to argue.

But you're certainly correct that in a lot of ways he beats Brady.

There's still 4 ways besides wins (which Tom did with 2 franchises btw) I like Tom better:
1) Reading a defense. There's simply nobody better ever.
2) Longevity as discussed
3) Tom did it with less offensive talent around him (but before this year Patty did it with less defensive talent)
4) Wife (or ex now I suppose)

Regardless I'm enjoying the ride. He's freaking incredible.
