Odd one for sure. Makes me think that maybe they are drafting a QB and want some short term starter and/or backup contingencies. Otherwise they would have been a little more aggressive in finding a higher valued FA QB.

It's a win / win. If he isn't good the steelers don't lose. Tomlin will be able to reset their QB room either way. I think they're drafting one as well.

The don't pick until #20 in the 1st round. Given that this year's QB class pretty much sucks, I'd imagine that all the decent ones will be gone by then.

Or the QB class isn't great and someone like Willis will be hanging out

Someone that does not have an immediate QB starter need (like the Steelers) would be a good spot for Willis if he's still on the board. Big upside and they could manage with Mitch T in the short term.

He's pretty bad. Especially if he's expected to drop back, stay in the pocket and make accurate throws. He reminded me of Tommy yolo bomb. 3 good passes and the next 2 are so far off you're not sure who he was trying to throw it to.

Yea I'm not even a Bears fan and I agree. He'll win you a few here and there but you're never goin to win anything of substance with him.
I have a good friend who's a huge Steelers fan that has a hard on for him. I told him careful what you wish for.

Equal money, so either Davante wanted out because Rodgers is a huge dick or it came down to scenery. Both can be true.
