NFL is changing how they do kickoffs

This plus getting rid of the hip tackle is so stupid

You get two onside kicks per game, and both have to be in the 4th quarter

How long before college football adopts this rule

Just not aesthetically pleasing at all. Something special about the build up to kickoff, then peak collision and angles to start a saturday or sunday morning.

It's really too bad that the NFL doesn't prioritize aesthetic since the target market is 300lb guys with chinstraps who throw up in the stands!

Enjoy this thing of beauty before it gets censored!

So, I assume the kicker kicks off a tee as normal?

Have on-side kicks been completely eliminated? Is there any chance for the kicking team to get the ball back?

Edit: Ok, it’s explained in the rules posted above. In the fourth quarter a trailing team can declare an onside kick and then the onside is attempted according to the current rules and setup. The new rules obviously eliminate the surprise onside kick.
