One of those teams just happened to win every other game that they should sans 1... We lost every single close game, including vs MSU even when we had multiple opportunities to win most. My opinion on things is worth just as much as yours and we’re both in the same spot now in spite of either of our opinions. Which is with a 3-9 team.

I thought this team was good enough to win 8 games. I maintain they were. They didn’t. It sucks. I was wrong.

It’s extremely easy to tell people they are wrong when they make predictions on things and place a lot of their opinions on the board. Kind of interesting that the people who call others out for being wrong are never the ones who put their opinions on the board.

I believe this - it’s incredible to me that a coach can win 3 games in year 5 and be safe, but that’s the reality of the situation when it’s a Nebraskan at the helm. Nebraska deserves to be bad.

At some point, “close” doesn’t matter. You either get it done or you don’t regardless of circumstance.

The path of least resistance that doesn’t require us to go into rebuilding mode again is that Frost makes some very quality hires to fill the open spots and we win games next year. That’s the path I think we all want. But I suppose we’ll have to see this time next year.
