He's the 5 star franchise player. You want him making big bets. That and he's a teenager. As an adult I don't get too wrapped up in what a teenager has to say. Not the most worldly lot.

One thing I will agree on - the missed TD's. He's particularly inept at the long ball. We did a better job of hitting those in 2023. I take solace in the fact that he's still a FR and has the time to improve on that.

I see nothing wrong with having a cocky QB. He's just a freshman, so it doesn't bother me. It's nice to have someone with a winning attitude.

Agree. I am confident Holgo will coach him up and not beat around the bush with what he needs to work on. I expect a very big jump in year 2.
