New schedule with no divisions is about to be released

I'll be really disappointed if we don't get one of the CA schools as an annual game, but fully expect the Big 10 to fuck us on the schedule yet again

Are there people who seriously think the B1G isn't/wasn't/hasn't fucked us on the schedule previously?

My thought is that if someone cannot see it, they're in denial.

If we play USC, UCLA, and Cockeye every year, that will be good for recruiting too. We will be out in LA once per year, on primetime TV probably, and if we start winning we can gain some traction in the California area.

We will have ties to Texas, the Northeast (where Rhule is from), and inroads in California. Hopefully our staff can make connections down in Georgia and Florida as well.

My guess is Cockeye, UCLA and Minnesota.

and I wouldn't mind that. I think for sure they'll get Cockeye and a west coast school. Not sure about that 3rd one yet.
Nebraska and UCLA actually have some history together so I assume that’s a lock

Cockeye should be a lock

Then it’s USC or Minnesota

I kind of forgot the Cali teams are going to need "rivals" until the B1G poaches more schools. We'll probably get one bc we're the closest.

I'm betting on:
Cockeye, Wisconsin, UCLA

Big Ten to Nebraska:

So our protected games are UCLA, Cockeye, and then...Wisconsin and/or Minnesota/?

I don't think those are necessarily protected games, they are just some big match ups that got released early. USC and UCLA each have 4 games on that list and 3 is the most protected rivalries possible

That's pretty brutal
USC: vs Michigan, vs Cockeye, vs Wisconsin, at Penn State
UCLA: vs Ohio St, at Michigan, vs Nebraska (we will be good), vs Cockeye
The big ten likes to make sure the new guys don’t dominate the conference. Ucla will probably get tOSU for the next 7/10 years & USC is getting the grinder.

Positive is Cockeye will playing tOSU & USC with what I imagine includes Wisconsin & penn state. No more Indiana Rutgers & Maryland bs
