Kind of true but Justin was already on LSU’s radar due to the fact both his older brothers played at LSU.

His brother Jordan Jefferson was the starting QB at LSU for 3 years 08-11. It wasn’t an ‘Oh wow who is this Jefferson kid?” type of situation when Mickey saw him play. The family has deep ties to the university.
