Game Thread Nebrasketball Game #5: @ Pickle Smoochers (Friday, November 22 7:00pm FS1)

They’ve got 3-4 tall white guys that do nothing but shoot….terrible roster construction by Plantation Greg.
I haven't figured out if Loesner totally pantsed him with elite defensive game planning and execution or if Greg can't draw something up to get his alleged Big East POY more than 1 shot yeeted from 3

It’s always fun to take those douchebags down, but it’s especially sweet to expose the Kalkbrenner NPOY talk as the pure fantasy that it’s always been.

I recall the days of Ryan Anderson trying his best to defend 7fters in the Devaney Center. I recall saying that the scheme to defend big men is there, we just can’t hide the fact we don’t have a single guy that’s 6ft8.

Now we’ve got 3 guys over 6ft10. It’s going to be hard to score points on us in the paint.

Meah had 6 boards, 2(?)blocks, and 4 fouls. For his role on the team, that is an elite stat line

Yep, not to mention Buyuktuncel’s near double-double. We have 15 fouls to give with big men who all have different strengths. None of them are going to light up the scoreboard, but they’re all useful in their roles.

Berke packs a punch to him. I really like him and I think he can add a ton offensively as he gets comfortable.
