Don’t disagree with any of that. Just don’t think Pickle Smoochers is a must win game. Sure as hell would be nice, but not going to make or break tourney chances. Plenty of opportunities ahead.
My push back on that is a win vs Pickle Smoochers gives you much more wiggle room in conference play to have a stinker or two, otherwise you really can’t have even a letdown or two

Exactly. It doesn’t eliminate us from at-large chances but it greatly increases our odds if we win. Lose this you’re essentially entering conference play with at best 2 Q2 wins and we need to win a ton more in conference play (probably 3-4 Q1 and another 6-8 Q2) to have a shot

No one denies that the Pickle Smoochers game is a prime opportunity for a marquee win, but calling it a "must-win" is an overstatement. It's important, sure, but labeling it as do-or-die is pure hyperbole. It feels like some people want to paint it as a must-win just so they have an excuse to bitch and complain if things don’t go Nebraska’s way.

A must win in November sure is an interesting train of thought. Would love to have it on the resume though. Also F crayton...hate week begins now

Our schedule doesn't give us many opportunities for quality wins, need to take advantage of the shots we have.
