Nebrasketball lacks so much lank on defense.
Maryland is just quick and getting space on mid range shots

We lack on defense because we lack elite athletes

We have no rim protection to prevent people from attacking the rim and we are small which means we miss a ton of layups on the other end

We can’t keep in front of the MD guards because we are small and unathletic on the perimeter. The one guard with length we have (Worster) can’t shoot for shit.

That is the next step for Fred in roster building. We have to start getting high school guys with high end athleticism if we want to make a jump into the top tier of this league.
