So what exactly flipped in the last two games with the way the B1G refs are calling things? For weeks, the whistle had been more or less balanced. Then suddenly we get back‑to‑back games where the free‑throw gap jumps from “normal basketball variance” to “WTF."

Nebraska is 9–0 when the whistle stays within the bounds of sanity.
Nebraska is 0–2 when the opponent gets a +20 free‑throw fest.

Just got beat today. The emergence of Wagler makes them tough. Kid can hoop. Almost Mast needs to find his game. Gonna have to have him knock down a few to make a run.

Bad whistles but we aren't doing ourselves any favors. Need Mast

Michigan was called badly. Today was called pretty well for the most part.

6 of the Illini 26 attempts today were on 3 pointers. 10 of their remaining 20 attempts from us trying to foul (2:08 left).

Refs didn't beat us today. The better team won.

Yeah refs weren’t great but not the reason we lost. We had no paint game so it was going to take 20 3s to win this one

B1G is the toughest conference out and you’re going to lose some. Team needs games like this to round out if we’re going to make a run in March.

We struggled to generate offense down the stretch in both Illinois and Michigan and need to figure that out when the 3s aren’t falling. 3 point variance will kill you if don’t have a counter.

3s kept us in it. Missed some late but we still ended up 42%. We were 50% most of the game.

I think we just got beat in the post. Mast scoring drought continues. He didn't seem 100%.

Just a really bad matchup for us….its a miracle we beat them at their place.

Their size basically eliminates our ability to get the easy back cuts and lay ups as they either take that pass away with their length or recover and block/contest the shot. On offense they kill us on the glass.
