he would have probably taken minutes away from Frager. the extra playing time probably helped Frager develop, and he's a much more complete player than Essegian

What I was thinking.
Not really needed this season, probably a good thing he got injured.

I think there’s a role for Essegian, but maybe not on this years team. If he can figure out his defensive rotation he can be a valuable player next year. Maybe a 6th man gunslinger.
