We’ll jump North Carolina, Michigan State and 1 (maybe 2) of… Vanderbilt, BYU, Houston or Gonzaga. Should definitely be ahead of BYU and probably Houston, but we’ll see what they do. Probably still some flaming homosexuals that won’t vote us in the top 10.
I feel like we'll be #10-11 which is stupid

I saw this story earlier today, and I was very puzzled.

Ohio State is a really good offensive team, but they're barely the 7th best defensive team nebraska has faced this season.
Here's where I'm at on this...DONU has played good defensive teams and beat them (obviously). The concern, as pointed out a few times is the turnaround time.

According to https://www.warrennolan.com/basketball/2026/stats-adv-offensive-rating

Offense

Nebraska (54)

Illinois (7) 83-80
Oklahoma (13) 105-99
BYU (28) 90-89
Ohio St (32)
MSU (72) ? 58-56

Defense
Nebraska (14)

BYU (19)
MSU (28)
Illinois (51)

Ohio State (87)
Oklahoma (115)

If you look at Ken Pom defensive efficiency ratings, New Mexico, Pickle Smoochers, and Wisconsin are also better than Ohio State.

Now, fwiw, one of Nebraska's worse offensive games actually came against K-State. The Cats are a defensive abomination.

So many analytics and measurable stats to look at, I’m hoping the boys get some rest and fuel to be up and ready for 40 minutes of tough physical B1G basketball and walk out of that joint with the dub!

Thanks for the response Corn!

This is why I like this matchup. We should be able to get whatever we want offensively. Also a huge coaching edge if it's a close game. I still can't believe Diebler is the coach at OSU with all the resources they have.
