Illinois fans are still in meltdown mode over this loss. If you're an Illini basketball fan, you don't expect a home loss vs Nebraska. I get that.

But they're acting like they just lost to 2019-2020 Nebraska.
Yep. Their fans are horrible. Trying to point to one clip on Twitter after Nebraska probably got hosed for 10+ points in the first half on blatant no calls. Just hilarious. Glad we were able to overcome! Keep it rollin baby!

The one they are whining about was an obvious foul too.

I see a lot of them wanting to can their coach too.

Feels good to be THAT team.

They should be. They know when game was being called even we ran out to double digit leads. Refs kept them in it. So what will happen in the tourney when refs aren’t helping them?

I rewatched the game yesterday and agree about that foul. In their defense though, complaining is what fans do. We would have done the same.

Their coach is a jerk though. Looks like a heavy drinker

Since we don't have another game for like 100 days...

I keep thinking about the fact that J-Law even took that shot.

I think most teams would have setup that last play to get a particular player the ball, prob Mast or Pryce on our team and let them take a shot.

I think we honestly just ran a set play to start the possession but whatever happens from there is just guys knowing how to play in the system.

Anyone could have had the last shot depending on how Illinois played it. That's actually kind of remarkable that any of 4 or 5 dudes could end up taking the shot at the end of the game.

Sam Hoiberg said himself that he went the wrong way. He was supposed to go right and there were cutters coming from the left. He made the pass to Lawrence and Lawrence hit the shot. Easy Peasy.

It wasn’t supposed to go to JLaw. Just the way it worked out
